I’ve mentioned on here about having written a new book (not the Riddled with Senses one, another one). I haven’t said much else about it. I also put up a post with drawing of insects and a secret code, but then i took it down again.
The truth is, I’m up to something. The book I wrote, well it’s a simple story, about a woman who gets caught up in a cult, one that seems innocent at first then becomes increasingly complicated and corrupt.
Once I had finished it, I got sucked into a side project, connected but different, one that’s been occupying my thoughts and making the rest of my life feel like a half-sketch.
I want to tell you all about it, but not on here, I’m not ready to unleash it on the world yet, it’s not tamed.
So instead I want you to sign up to the email gadget that has appeared at the side of my blog. (right at the top)
The practicalities of this are not alarming – it’s Mailchimp, I had to give proof of my identity, an address and make a promise not to spam or sell details. They will hunt me down and obliterate me from existence if I break their rules (not that I would ever break their rules, I only want people to read what I write, not to hate me). So it’s all safe.
And of course I’ll do all the usual letting-you-know-about-blogs stuff that is expected with email followers. It will all seem totally normal. But in time, I also want to send you other things: information, pictures, stories, hysterical doodles and coded scribbles from the past. So I guess what you need to ask yourself is, are you curious?
Curious enough to click that button and fill in an email address?
Because remember what they say: curiosity got the cat a warm comfy cushion to lie on.
So what is there to lose?
